Swans flying over Portlaoise- anyone see them?

I was amazed to see a beautiful pair of Whooper Swans flying over my house in Portlaoise this morning, around 8.15am, with their distinctive call. Did anyone else observe them? Last time I saw Whooper swans in flight was in Carlow, some years ago, flying along the Barrow.
