Hand position on steering wheel for driving test

Hi, just wondering what the standard hand position is on the wheel for the driving test, 10/2, 9/3 or something else. I know it used to be 10/2 and was changed to 9/3 but I'm not sure can anyone clear it up for me?

It was 10-2 when i passed my test. Not sure how 9/3 would be comfortable or safe.

I think you are correct, it use to be the 10/2 but it turns out this is unsafe if you are in a crash.
