Android TV Box T95Z Plus Lan issue (FIX)

    Hi Folks,

first of all i hope this doesn't get considered illegal talk as i am an end user not a supplier.

I have one of these tv boxes and was having some trouble with the LAN being picked up. i spoke with the guy who posted it and he was less than helpful. i noticed a few others online having similar issues so i went digging myself.

it turns out that in my case when turning off the device it stayed active on the modem lease pool. when i turned it back on i had no internet access whatsoever. i gave it a static ip and made no diff. for what ever reason even though it had the same ip as before under the DHCP it was creating a conflict. Because it remained active the MAC address would not change to the static IP on the modem. I rectified this by going in to the DHCP on the modem (Eir Fibre F2000) and removing it from the address pool completely. i then turned the unit back on and boom we have internet.

NB. this is just what i found from personal troubleshooting. if this doesn't work for you then i would recommend sending it back and getting a refund.
