Scrapping Irish plate car in the UK.

    Just like to confirm everything i am doing is legit and above board.

    Im scrapping my Irish plate car in the UK before the tax runs out at the end of this month. The scrappers will give me a certificate of destruction and i send that off to Shannon along with the logbook and thats done and dusted? Not sure if i need to send the licence plates or if i should take them off the car before they destroy it?

    Yes, but you'll get them no matter if you send down paperwork to shannon or not.
