Ok so im in a bit of a tizzy, I am on btea age reduced under 25 and in 2nd year. Part of our course is that we must do a 6 month work placement here in Ireland or abroad. I contacted the S.W they told me where its not mandatory to do work experience abroad btea will be stopped if I go abroad and do work experience. The work experience is in the EU and is paying 300 per month, room and board paid to.

My question is if I sign off the btea to go on the placement abroad will i be allowed to sign on btea when I come home in January 2018? I have a part time job to (the S.W know about that) so il have to leave that if I go on placement abroad.

Anyone with any experience of this? Any help would be appreciated
