    Hi,
Planning this year's baskets and I'd love to include some plants I had years ago but can't remember what they were. They grew quite bushy and trailed extremely well, with a very small smooth leaf and small flowers, there was a red and a violet. I'd appreciate any advice. Also I prefer greenery and shrubs to a lot of flowers in general, although I try to include some colour so any suggestions would be much appreciated too

Your plants were probably lobelia, lots of different shades from white through pink and purple to dark shades of these.

Coleus - hanging varieties, and Begonia Rex - Painted Leaf Begonia - are good for colour other than flowers.
