Student Raceday in Mallow and I know a few going so I sent them on this. (Few of em havent a notion about racing so I had to break things down for em :pac:)

    3:00 She's Flat Tothemat 5/1 (Each Way)

Looks the value bet in this race.
Was only 3 lengths behind todays favourite Leomar last time out.
Was only put into the race late on.
Is 2lb better off at the weights today
Should get much closer to leomar.

    3:30 Gurteen (Each Way) 9/2

Loves this ground and has run against some good types including Min.
Form of his last run has worked out well.
The favourite in this race is having his 2nd run back from a layoff.
In racing terms, he may well bounce today (Run bad).
Gurteen will find any kinks in its armor.

4:05 Bective Cave (Each Way) 10/1

Gave the favourite Coole Craft 8lb last time for a 6l defeat.
Now recieves 7lb from that rival, should be enough to reverse the placings.
Has a low weight on ground it likes.

    4:35 Kaiser Black (Win) 8/11
Kaiser Black happens to be Davy Russells only ride of the day. Put on his best performance to date under rules LTO at Leopardstown where he finished 2nd. A repeat performance should see him lose his maiden tag here.

5:05 King Blue (Each Way) 8/1

This race is for amateur jockeys.
Derek O Connor and Katie Walsh by far best jockeys in race.
Katie rides King Blue for her husband.
Is a course and distance winner.
Not shown much form lately but a revival could be on the cards today.

    5:35 Captainofthefleet (Each Way) 13/2

Has been running over the wrong distance lately but running with credit.
Step back up in trip on heavy ground will be more to his liking.
Is much lower in the weights than when 1st and 2nd in this race in the last 2 years.
Another good run is on the cards today.

6:10 Catwalk King (Each Way) 13/2
Catwalk King represents decent each way value in the bumper. Most of these arent too exposed under rules so not much form to go on. On its sole run to date Catwalk King was 2 and a quarter lengths behind the horse in 3rd. That horse beat Banno who also runs here by 8 and a half lengths so on that form Catwalk King would be head of Banno. The fav could be vulnerable after being turned over at short odds last time out.

Another Pack Your Bags special from JP and Tyner. Be interesting how they stop Spare Breaks today. Enright was visibly soiling his pants turning in at Gowran last time.

Few quid for him anyway. 7/1 earlier, best price 11/2 now.

What about A Hardy Nailer in the 16.35, will the handbrake be released on her today?

Hate seeing any money for one of theirs in the morning. Usually only means one thing but its such a rubbish race.

Couldnt back one off a fall but shes not a bad mare.

Speaking of Tyner, I have backed Mount Brandon at 8/1 in the 5:00. Derek O Connor was the only pilot to have ever gotten this one to win and today he's looking to make it two out of two in an amateur riders race.

Fair play copper, you got them a couple of winners and a few places too.
Gurteen is fast becoming a dreadful disappointment. Thought he was going to be smashing horse when I seen him chase Min home a couple of years ago.
