Financial Contribution to Planning Authority on Grant of Planning Permission

    Had never heard of this until receiving Conditions of Planning Permission today. Applied for side extension with two extra bedrooms above car port. Contribution is 3k (SDCC). Just wondering how they arrive at the figure, or what's other peoples' experience? Has to be paid obviously but the old Excel spreadsheet is looking worse by the day the start of many hidden costs no doubt...
