    Honda Civic. Seriously comfortable car with plenty of bells and whistles. You should be able to get a 13/14 reg depending on mileage a spec (9th generation model). They are a bit quirky with the split rear window and a little bit dearer to service but you certainly can't fault the build quality and reliability.

    I wouldn't limit myself to connaught op. Galway myself and all purchases were elsewhere ;) I'd travel for something I liked though including UK

    Extend your search nationwide. Ireland is a small country. You are missing out on countless good cars which will fit your criteria by limiting your search to a small area.

    Yeah looking through the sites there is just so much more on offer when I expand my search. Think Im going to go with Golf though.

    Just wondering in terms of the spec,

    There is Trendline, Comfortline and High line in that order. What exactly is the Match, "S" and R- Line? How important is bluemotion tech? Ive noticed its on some and not others. Seems more common 2013 onwards.

    If you were to rank them where would they go in a tier?
