    Hi all,
    Looking for any info anybody might have on a moisture meter. Thinking of getting one for checking soil in polytunnel. Thanks all

    You can get a digital meter, for checking the moisture content of timber and masonry, plaster, etc., but I'm not aware of anything like that for soil. My method would be just to check it digitally........stick your finger down into it:).
    If it feels moist , all good. If it feels dry and dusty, increase the rate of watering.

    You could make one very easily. I built one for some of my pot plants while I was on holiday last year.
