The Club always seems like the red headed step child of the Nomos family. The recent catalogue I received had ever other Nomos watch (sometimes multiple variants) and not a single image of the Club, so it's interesting that they trying another new size and colours. Quite like the silver and black dial. The others not so - don't think they look good on the new smaller Ahoi either. No mention of the Cali dial version, which I think is horrible.

Really like tudors offerings last year, but that Chrono is rotten. The steel 43mm black bay just seems like them running out of ideas. Hate the rivetdesign of the bracelet, snow flake hands don't make any sense either.

Well this is the one most people on the various forums were waiting for. This is the 50th Anniversary SD. It's gone up in size to 43mm , has the "Sea-Dweller" in red which is a nod to the vintage SD''s. On the downside they have given it a cyclops. I don't think there will be many that will like that as it's not in keeping with the heritage of the watch.

Rolex have Introduced / changed a number of models but this is the big one for this year. Many are disappointed that the rumored Stainless Steel Coke GMT didn't make an appearance. Maybe it will be next year for them.

Oh yeah... me too. I especially like the blue dial. It's the pick of them for me.

Love the seadweller, if only it came without the cyclops and in a decent deep blue / navy colour. Not the standard black that 95% of divers come in and I don't like the very bright blue Rolex diver colour either

I've seen in more than one place people proclaiming that Rolex made the SD 4000 the most popular (Rolex) watch of the show. Apparently they're disappearing all over the place. Really don't understand why they opted for a cyclops, a know people associate them as part and parcel of Rolex's identity, but a lot people such as myself can't stand them.

This is the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Auto , a world record breaker for ultra thin watches. The self-winding movement in this watch is a staggering 2.23mm thick or should I say thin !
I know this isn't to everyone's taste. I'd ever buy one but I think it's class looking. Yours for $13000

To me that's a classic Longines re-issue fail. On the original the sub-dial is approximately mid distance between the centre and the edge of the dial whereas with this one it's more like one third/two thirds. They've used a movement that's too small.

In other news I do like these fumé-dialled Junghans.

I can never understand how a company can create new watches with aged 'patina'.
I love the look of the Omega trilogy, the Seamaster 300 is stunning, but the ode to the patina is just too gimmicky for me.
It's something you would expect from TimeFactors but from a luxury manufacturer? No thanks.

As do I. Even better, you can find original 60's/70's watches from lesser known makers and some interesting ones for little enough money if you want to sport that look. And a cool look it is.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I think they've done a lovely job on that and Longines (et al) should take note. Given that Rado are often available with really good discounts (at one point I think Creation stocked them) it may be one worth looking out for in the sales.

That was my favourite I came across, very interested in picking up one of those later in the year.

Think you're right about the Longuines too, liked the look of it at a glance but once your attention is drawn to the placement of the subdial, it does just shout, movement too small!
