Emergency Tax

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if emergency tax is automatically refunded or do you have to chase it ?

    If your tax is in order, then it'll automatically be refunded in one of your pay-cheques. If out of employment, it'll automatically come back to you after a while, but you can chase it immediately (they allow you to do that with emergency tax) as to speed up the process.
