EPH Water heating valve

    Hello,
looking for some guidance trying to troubleshoot a problem that I just got.

I have a 3 zone heating system that uses EPH controls and valves. There is also a solar system that support water heating.
Today the heating was working to heat the water, but roughly half-way through I noticed the boiler was disconnected. When I looked at the EPH Zone controller the lights indicated the heating was suppose to be on. But the boiler was not working. So I checked the boiler room, and noticed that the EPH water valve did not have a light on.

My first step was to test the radiator heating and both zones work as expected. When I turn it on, the valves light up and the boiler kicks in.

So my question, is how can I troubleshoot this further? In my very little knowledge, I am assuming I have excluded the boiler from being the problem, but I am sure this is not correct and there could be a few more checks to do...

I am thinking that the valve might have broken (if that is possible). But is there a way to check if that is really the cause? The valve has a switch (AUTO/MANUAL OVERWRITE) but I havent a clue what that does..

I might be completely on the wrong way here... and in that case, please let me know what I should be looking at.

    thank you

What happens is the timer sends power to the thermostat that turns on the motorised valve which then turns on the boiler
So you need to check the thermostat to see if it's to temperature if so it won't send power to the motorised valve

    thank you for the replies.
so i found that this seems to be a safety feature on the system. if the water in the tank is 60degrees it will shut the heating and the boiler will not turn on.

It's not really a safety feature it's heat demand set the hot water for 60degrees when temp is reached turns off boiler it's more designed as energy efficiency
