A long shot.

A friend of mine told me about a pair of runners she had as a kid in the 90's. They were white and red with a digital clock on them. They were a present for her 8th from her aunt in America. She can't remember any makers name and her aunt can't remember where she got them.

I'd love to locate a pair as a surprise present for her 30th birthday coming up in April.

Anyone ever see or have a similar pair? Any help appreciated.

It's pretty hard to find old stuff like that. Sometimes you can find them on ebay or other auction sites but it's rare. It's even harder when you don't know what they were called. They could have just been a generic brand and there's no record of them. Your best bet is to get a better description of them and trawl through a google image search until you find something similar.

I've wanted one of these for years. I saw it once on an auction site but was too broke. Just did a search there and can't find an active auction (Still, I'm broke right now so even if I found it I have better things to do with my money). Someday I'll find it and have the money
