Scania 143 question

    Not sure if this in the right section.We have a 143 that wont build up air.There is a pipe missing off the back air tank. Would it have to be connected for it to build up air. There's no air leaking anywhere. This lorry was lying up for ten years

    With something not working for 10 years, id say you will have problems with porus rubber in hoses and valves internally. Also valves could be stuck open or closed. Moisture in the system wont help. Need to check out the compressor valves etc. Also change desicant filter. After 10 years, parts can go missing like hoses, valves etc. Drums and shoes could be stuck.
