    Anyone seen it yet ?

Watched it last night and its pretty good, few uncomfortable moments but overall very well made with the stories linking up.

Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce were very good in it.

I've watched it. It looks good, it's well acted, but overall the story is a bit silly.

It's very ambitious narratively and maybe doesn't quite work. I like Fanning but I thought she was miscast. Not old enough to be the mother of a 5 year old. She still looks 16. Mia Wasikowska was originally cast and would have been perfect.

I thought it was astoundingly good and a lot more ambitious a film than I had been expecting (knew nothing about it going into it). Yes, the story is a stretch somewhat, particularly as it nears a conclusion and sort of tapers off with a less than satisfying ending but the performances are excellent and the film is very strong visually.

It's also a somewhat disturbing film in spots, more so due to the subject matter rather than the unrelenting grit - which make no mistake, is equally present in spades. Fantastic film though and the way it's structured works incredibly well in this case.

It's always a good sign when a film with a runtime of 150 minutes sails by - some may disagree but I never felt it was unnecessarily flabby and moves at a very good pace.
