    Hi all again!

Sorry to start a new thread but I'm looking for different info now- does anyone know where I would find info re: county wexfords local area needs requirements? I've been searching online for hours and can't find the details anywhere!

    Many thanks!

    1. Look up the Wexford development plan probably search 'rural housing' or 'rural house control', if you don't feel your getting enough clarity at least read anything you can about residential zoning in rural areas.
    2. ring the planning office and get an email address for the planner for the area you are living/buying a site. Then write to area planner and ask them to confirm what the rural housing development policy is and where you can read about it. Best to not try to engage with the council unless it's in writing, I meet a lot of people who can misunderstand what the planners are saying, never mind what rubbish some seem to be told when they ring the council over the phone
