Went to withdraw cash from my paddy power account today but have been told that I have to give proof of address, credit card images etc. I am reluctant to give anything as I don't know how securely it will be stored (hacking etc.).

Needless to say that I don't have to verify such information when I deposit cash in the account : -))

But do all online /apps do this verification now??

    Cheers.

Yeah most sites do this. I've no problem giving I.D etc but this should be done when you sign up. You could potentially lose thousands but when you have a little win and try to withdraw they ask for I.D.

Cheers - so are there any bookies that I can sign up to their online services in the shop and show them the relevant details?

    Don't think so.

Some bookies have an email address that you send the documents to and others have a section where you can upload the documents

Just get their Cashcard and withdraw in the shop. You'll only need your passport when you are signing up for the card.

I have a cash card and went to withdraw in the shop but was told that there was zero available to withdraw even though I knew that there was funds.

I then went online and was told by them that it was because my account wasn't verified.

Same with them all. Bruce betting wouldn't be as strict or bar one if there's any near you

Strange. I've never had a problem.
