    Hi

I wonder could you recommend a box that i can watch both saorview and freesat on? I currently have a hife job but it's rubbish and keeps losing the channel lineup and needs to rescan and sort channels regularly.
I'd like something that i can plug both aerials into and then flash it to look similar to sky or virgin if possible. I'm not interested in recording or fancy epgs, now and next would be fine. I'm reasonably tech savvy so flashing an image and setting it up should be ok but my mother would be the primary user so ease of use would be important as well as being fairly maintenance free once setup as she wouldn't be able to do much outside of turning it in and changing the channel.

Does something like this exist? Thanks for the help.

Yep. I've done a bit more reading and it looks like something the Edision Mini OS who OpenVix installed on it might work for me?

    What do you think?

Could I jump on this thread and ask if this box is suitable for someone who is techologically hopeless as I am!!

I'm going to buy a box and want one for a bedroom that will take both saorview and freeview and record programmes (via an external hard drive if needs be).
Budget in/around €100 plus cost of hard drive.

    Many thanks!!
