Watched a YouTube on Ammo Hydrate and it seems it would make drying a lot easier. Can it be bought here or is there something similar I can get?

Nope. Larry doesn't re-sell outside of the US. You'd have to buy direct and get stung with import duty.

Bilt Hamber's QD is supposed to be very good and would do the same job as Hydrate. I haven't used it personally, but I have used a lot of BH's products and they're top notch.

In general, using a quick detailer as a drying aid (which i find invaluable btw) do they strip LSPs and if so, are there any on market that specifically don't

Quick Detailers and Drying Aids dont effect LSP. However they often have gloss enhancing properties, and when products like this are used on top of your chosen LSP, they become the top layer and the layer that reacts with the environment. This results in the change of characteristics of why you chose your LSP - so for example, if you chose a nano / ceramic coating, because its durable, scratch resistant, and the hydrophobic properties giving easy maintenance; using a Quick Detailer or Drying Aid on top, this is now the reacting layer - you still have durability and scratch resistance of the coating, however you will loose hydrophobic properties, as the QD wont offer the same finish.

Larry's gear operates on a building layer's and best used together although I have never come across any adverse reactions using with other products.

Hydrate is very good though at aiding drying the car.

Not used detailer as drying source so not sure on that.

He also operates from his own base so no distribution network, I was never charged anything on delivery myself.

I'd maybe still using his gear more but for lack of refill drums (5ltr jobs) everything 500ml bottles n sprays is bit disappointing and expensive.

I do have a mate doing trips to USA through his work but can't convince him to get gear and a supercharger for my project car :pac: :pac:
