Bacon and cabbage does not really go with any drink. So no.

No I actually never do on Paddy's Day. I have work tomorrow anyway. Even if I wasn't working I probably still wouldn't bother.

Not for me. Even when I was going out a lot, always found St. Patrick's Day grim...

Same here, stayed in bed for a couple of extra hours and just relaxed.
Mrs Flyer drove through city centre last night and said it was just ugly pi$$ed up mayhem.

Goes well with a drop of cider, try it.

I'm making a late dinner for those who are working today, so no boozing. Went back to bed for a few hours though and it was lovely. Sleep is great.

Not a hope....kids running riot in the pubs and the parents too pissed up to notice....I absolutely hate Paddy's day in the pub can get very messy..
I see kids helping drunk mammy and daddy home most years...

    I don't have time for a hangover.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 958 ✭✭✭Neames

A few glasses of red wine at home will do just nicely.

I rarely go the pub now, too pricey and the hangovers are a killer.

As Morrissey said "Past the pub that saps your body and the church all it wants is your money....."

I rarely go to church either, too pricey and the sermons are a killer.

Poured a glass of whiskey about 15 minutes ago.

That's the first alcohol of the ay, apart from maybe a third of a can when making a stew using guinness.

Nope.. had a nice lie on, and have just relaxed today and caught up on some of this weeks TV.

It's raining and windy all day anyway.. feck going out in that if you don't need to. Wouldn't have any interest in drinking most of the time anyway these days.

Had a few earlier but left it at that because I'm up early tomorrow for a wedding. If I didn't have the wedding though, I'd still be out instead of typing this :)

I don't drink anymore, unless it's a special occasion, which this isn't imo

No. Haven't had a drink in almost a year. Feel the better for it.
