Do I need a new pump and if so, where to go?

I live in a first floor apartment - 2 bathrooms, both of which have only a trickle of water (mixer taps) and no flush in toilets.

Cold water in Kitchen tap working fine. Didn't test hot yet.

    I gather this means I need a new/repaired pump?

If so, what kind do I need? I'm guessing the higher bars are for pumping upstairs or suchlike?

What should I expect to pay for purchase and install? Could I do it myself? (I've replaced taps, do a bit of DIY, kind of enjoy it)

Sorry for the million questions - it only happened 10 minutes ago and I am eager to try and get it sorted!

    Thanks for any advice!

Try turning off the electrical supply to the pump and switch it back on after 30 seconds, it may just need to be reset.

What kind of pump is it? It is often cost-effective to have them repaired or replaced with a reconditioned model.

    Its a Stuart Turner M330N

Apparently the PCB can be dicky!

Checking for repairs today - been washing old school all weekend! :D

@K. Flyer - thanks for that. Gave it a try by tripping the mains - no difference :(

Yes this can be fixed as it sounds like you have found out. It could also be the capacitor, or the pump could have jammed. There is a procedure to find out which, but I really can't remember the different things.

It was both the capacitor and the pcb.

Used a crew called domesticpumps.ie - they were absolutely top notch! All sorted for €220. €55 if i had the courage to mess with electricity and water and do it myself - they even show you how to do it on their website.

Thanks for all the tips folks.
