Rolling Road Block on M50

    Hey..did anyone else witness the rolling roadblock on the M50 today about 2pm? There was a convoy of 4 trucks with army escort, Garda outriders securing all stopped vehicles and Air Corps and Garda aerial surveillance.

    Anyone know what was in the trucks?

    Last time I saw that, it was a money run from the printing plant in sandyford, upto the airport.

    Going the other direction..North to South. Have a vid but just trying to figure out how to post it without personal details. I saw it between N4 and N7.

    Ah ha, if it was Caffreys it was about €300M or so in imported notes heading to the Mint. They handle import/export of currency for the state and always have such an escort.
