I had some installation work done in my house. Which never operated as it was supposed to. Despite numerous complaints and repeated failures by the installer to rectify the issue. I eventually lost all confidence in them.
I got on to the manufacturer of the product whom in fairness sent an independent engineer to look at the issue.
Despite repeated requests for a copy of the report neither the original installer or the manufacturer would furnish a copy of the report to me.
I eventually got the report through other means.
The report commissioned and paid for by the manufacturer, show that the installation was fitted incorrectly and of a serious safety concern.

Should the manufacturer under some legislation have informed us that we were at serious risk and their failing to so was (Illegal) incompetent.

I have had our own engineer in and his report is shocking we have been left at risk of fire and or explosive risk.

Given the above details in a real-life scenario, there is no choice but to close the thread for breach of the legal advice rule.

    You should take legal advice.
