Has anyone tried buying the rings from Argos? Most of them are 50% off or more.
It doesn't allow one to buy online or reserve them though, meaning one has to check in-store personally?

They are utter and complete rubbish. ALWAYS 50% off.

    Mass produced crap.

They don't allow you to check by size online so you would have to call the store to see what sizes they have in stock and then they could reserve them for you. Usually when they're on sale they have very few sizes left - either very small or very large.

Unless you're buying for a kid, I wouldn't bother. They are not good quality at all.

I've gotten some stuff in Argos over the years as small presents and have always been happy with it.

One was a Silver bangle style bracelet that was very cheap (like E20-25 or something) it lasted about 7 years of daily wear before it snapped (I cant remember what happened to it)

And I my daughter got my GF a white gold necklace and earings at Christmas and my GF really likes them (sentimental probably more than anything!) but were also pretty cheap (like E80 in total) and so far so good
