Hoping to get a CU loan in the next few weeks and go looking for new cars. I'm having trouble narrowing down the search though... looking for something with a large boot, isofix, reliable, probably no older than 141. I'm driving a 2008 Yaris for 9 years now and desperately looking for something a bit more fun! Any suggestions as to what we should be looking at? Most driving is local at the minute but in the future could be M50 commuting

    Skoda Superb?
Not sure about the fun though!

I'm guessing fun and family car probably don't go together... really I just want some nice new features like air con, Bluetooth etc, as my old banger doesn't have any little luxuries

I am in similar situation with you, have you considered a new Dacia Logan? You get the signature edition for that money. I know it is maybe not fun, but as I read in a review, it is not the car that you want but the one you need.
From scanning through donedeal it seems Renault delivers atm for the price range the best performance and this one would pop up: https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/renault-megane-grand-gt-line-1-5-dci-110-bhp/14409152
