    How lowered is it?

I wouldn't think so. The wheels aren't in a different position to where they could be if you hit a bump when not lowered. The ARB should just rotate slightly.

I don't know to be honest but roughly about an inch over alloy , 18 inch alloys on it

Would shortened ones be any harm as the previous owner gave me two shortened drop links cause he was going to change them ?

Generally you want longer droppings when lowered, not shorter ones

The drop links are usually fitted to the A arms which go up closer to the chassis/body as the car is lowered, so there is a chance the links will touch something, fit the short ones, it only takes a few minutes.

Thanks , it's only a matter of un bolting them then put in new ones and jack up the frame it connects to

You don't need shortened drop links. The reason theyre knocking is because the lowered suspension wore them out prematurely, fit OE quality new ones but don't expect them to last as long as they would in a car that wasn't lowered, that's just one of the pitfalls of lowering a car.

Shortened drop links came with the car cause they were knocking , would it be any harm if I put them in then replace them with the original size once their knocking
