    Hi spill,
Not sure about any in East Cork but there's an amateur orchestra in Kinsale, "Kinsale Amateur Orchestral Society" who meet every Thursday. Here's their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/KinsaleAmateurOrchestralSociety/
It looks like they're joining forces with a comhaltas group for their next event but it's not always like that, they do plenty of classical and fun stuff too I think. What kind of level of playing are you at? There's also Cork Symphony Orchestra and Cork Concert Orchestra which are open to adult non-professionals of a good standard.
You could mail the Cork ETB School of Music and see if they know anything? They have centres all around Cork and the teachers from East Cork might know more.
