    Hey all,
I did the 2 learner packages that Aviva do. I still haven't passed the test and was wondering is it possible for a parent to add you to their policy half way through the year and how much would it cost roughly.
    Any advice appreiacted

Yes your parents can add you at any time.

What it will cost depends on the insurance company/car/location etc etc. So best to get your folks to ask their insurer for the price.

Cheers. How long can they add you for? Is it from now until policy runs out?

ask the insurance company and they will quote for the remainder of the policy. after that, a full year will obviously be at a higher quote.
Note too that some companies will not take anyone under certain age - mine wouldn't take anyone under 25 yrs.

Could you be added for like a month or two? Any idea at all on how much it would cost?

It will be different for every insurance company. Best to ring the ones your parents are with and ask them. When I was on my provisional I think it was something like €800, which wasn't too bad. That was a few years ago. I've heard of others paying over €1000 nowadays.
