NCT question

Failed NCT on a leaking shock last week. Now the NCT disk expires on the 22nd of this month, can't get it repaired until the 23rd and have until the 8th of April to retest.
Obviously I will be re-booking as soon as it is repaired.
Is there a chance I'll be stopped at a checkpoint when the disk shows as expired.

Of course there's a chance you'll be stopped. Even if you are stopped, it's highly unlikely that you would be penalised.

Just have the proof of the retest (via text or print the email).

First off, you can book your test now, for a date after the repair has been done, no need to wait until you have had the repair done to book. Carry your NCT fail report and new booking appointment with you in the car, highly unlikely to have any issue if you get stopped.
