Recommend an Optician in Douglas

    Hi,
    At that age:(
    Need to get an eye test done and get some glasses.
    Can anyone recommend an Optician in Douglas (want to try and keep the business local)

    A friend said good things about the one between KCs and Falveys Pharmacy, I can't think of the name right now.

    My wife use's Douglas eyecare in the shopping centre, just by the post office.

    If you google the owners name you will find some interesting articles in the examiner. Used to go there until I read about it.

    Anyhow, thanks for the replies.
    Leahys were €45 for an eye test, so I didn't go with that.
    On the recommendation of a work colleague , I went to Crowleys on the Grand Parade. €20 for the test.
    They couldn't have been nicer to be honest.
    Got my glasses the other day.....Can see again

    FYI, you should be able to claim a free eye test under PRSI.
