Insuring & registering a kit car

    Hi
I have always wanted a caterham/lotus 7 style car. These are common as kit cars in England. Does anyone know if it is possible to reregister and insure one of these cars in Ireland? I doubt this makes a difference but Some of the cars I am looking at would be eligible for vintage tax & insurance.

    Thanks

I cant see why there would be any problem re-registering a kit car once all the UK paperwork is in order.

There is an Irish Kit Car club - they would be able to give you detailed advice on such cars.
