Just seen that my rear passenger window is not working, all others work fine off elect switches..
Someone said its a nct fail..others say only front windows need work.
    Anyone know for certain?

"Check that the driver’s window operating mechanism is functioning properly."

    Doesnt mention the passenger windows

Make sure the lettering on the window is showing. They check to see if it is the correct glass.

Its just the drivers door window that needs to be working

This reminds me of the time I locked my keys into my Carina a few years back. I made a call that I'd smash a window to get in. Made a call and decided that I'd smash the fixed window in the back door that does not go up and down (unsure of the name of this window but know its not the quarter window). I knew too at the time that this can be one of the most expensive windows to replace but wasn't going to have the car on the road much longer so decided to go with it as it would be the one that would cause me the least hassle.

Replaced it with a sheet of clear Perspex and it went through the NCT after and passed (its last NCT).

the regulator on the rear window of my car was bust, the window wasn't even staying closed. I just put it through the test and it passed. When I was out of the test centre I pulled over to re-apply some gaffa tape to close the window.

This exact thing happened to me but with the drivers window!
