Quick temp check on the market rate for this...

    2 x local call outs for 4 x portraits
I'm not a pro but the results are good. Proper setup with lighting, D610, 24-70, etc (so not a cowboy setup). Edited in Lightroom and client review.

1 x soft copy of portrait for online use
3 x printed, mounted and framed photos 8x12

Interested to hear what the going rate is for this.
I do some photography from time to time but don't usually charge.

I don't really think there is a market rate per se, as the quality of work and CODB will vary from photographer to photographer.

You need to work out what it will cost you to do the jobs and then add on a little profit for yourself. If you don't do this professionally, then I would advise you not to go too mad with a quote.

Also, keep in mind that the average Irish consumer is notoriously cheap when it comes to services of this nature, and may baulk at the fact that you did not offer up some of your vital organs as well as work at a rate below minimum wage.

1/ Find costs of Printing, Matt and Framing and add a fee for organising.
    2/ Estimate cost of travel.
3/ Estimate time taken to shoot + Post Prod.
4/ Decide on an hourly rate.
    5/ Multiply 3 & 4
    6/ Add 1, 2 & 5.

I would fix a price per hour for your professional services. Cost up your overhead including postage & packaging, travel, equipment renewal plan average etc. Add the above and you should have not be left short.

€300 and you are not robbing anyone.
