Hi, looking for inspiration to mark hubby's birthday. Hoping to get away in Ireland for 3-4 days with two teen sons. Restricted by limited budget and cost as it will be peak season (August). Something interesting but luxurious ideally. Living in Wex so another area would be good. Any suggestions?

Galway City is always fantastic. My partner and I go every year for a weekend and we love it.
It's got a real buzz about the place, there are tons of quirky pubs with live music, great restaurants and Salthill is only down the road.
