Gutting and refurbishing a house... What would you do?

We are considering a house move. The house is amazing, but needs a huge amount of work. Needs fully rewired, replumbed and a new heating system installed (and loads more, but just considering automation here).

Obviously this is a great opportunity for some serious gadgetry. What would you do?

Lots of cat6 cables to each room.

Been discussed lots before on this forum, search for it and read over the old threads, lots of info in them.
