Advice on drilling cast iron soil pipe

    Just wondering whats the simplest way to drilling a hole in an existing cast iron soil pipe for new kitchen waste. Do I need to rent a diamond core bit or is there an easier way to do. Also will a standard strap on boss do or will I need a special order job. Thanks

    try a bi metal hole saw.
    i havnt tried it on cast iron . use pleanty of oil

    not sure about the boss. if the diameter is right it should work
