J1 Visa and claiming Disability Allowance

    Currently in third level, and interested in do a J1 to a summer camp in the US. I understand you can only claim the payment for up to 3 weeks out the state. I am to new to this area and cant find any information online about people with disabilities travelling for a J1. If anyone here had experience with doing one it would be great to hear your experience, surrounding the J1 process and the disability payment.
