Inspector Interview

    Hi Folks,

Need some advice. Been on jobseekers for over a year, and working on starting my own business and the Back To Enterprise Grant. While I've been waiting for the back to enterprise grant to be processed, some work came up. You're not supposed to work ahead of the grant application, but, work is work and tough to say no when the opportunity arises.

So I worked on the project, but didn't say anything, didn't want to ruin my chances of the grant which is there to help you get up and running. I submitted the Back to Enterprise grant forms through DSP, and the next day an inspector showed up at my door, and setup an interview for a few weeks time, looking for bank statements for last 6 months.

I reckon I'm probably screwed, because last 2 months I have income from another source, just wondering if anyone has been through this and what scenarios could play out. I gather I'll lose the Grant, and will prob have to pay back any money I've gotten since the project started?

Just need some advice if possible

    Thanks
