One of my friend found a dog around the blackpool area in cork.

It will be helpful if someone can adopt or suggest other ways.

Let your local rescue know that it was found. I wouldn't go putting it up for adoption just yet as the owners could be looking for it.

Firstly, bring the dog to a vet and check to see if its microchipped. If it is, you will know the owners details immediately - Job done!

If that doesnt work, you could try put posters up in your local shops/post office etc and try locate the owners.

I agree with Ashbx's suggestions but also Contact Munster Lost and Found - they are a fantastic organisation. Owner could well be looking for him.
