Upright sports bike

Folks. I need a commuter bike I can use on the odd longer jaunt 80 - 100k

My giant seek 0 was stolen and I think it was almost perfect except it was a bit too low slung.

I'm a bit odd I think because what I really want is an upright sports bike with swept back bars and skinny ish tyres. Disk brakes and internal gears would be nice.

Does such a thing exist?

My first road bike was a Specialized Secteur and while it has drop bars it is a very upright riding position. I think it's available in a disc version now too.

A colleague of mine has a Gazelle Orange C8 that he's very happy with. 8-speed hub gear, hub dynamo lighting, upright, swept bars. Not sure about the brakes but I can't see rim brakes in the (only) image.

Says roller brakes. You can see them on the front wheel; cooling fin visible.

Pretty nice bike! (Not a fan of suspension on a commuter though.)

I think there are some light tourers that might match what the OP wants (apart from the swept-back bars). But they're very expensive, IIRC.

The thing you describe would be horrible over 100k.
