Boarding kennels in Wicklow

    Hi,

We're going on a trip at the end of this month and our current boarding kennels just informed us that they're closing at the end of the month (in the middle of our trip, so we can't bring our dog there).
Are there good kennels around Wicklow (we're in Ashford)? Our dog (german shepherd) is very intense and a bit reactive. Incredibly friendly to humans, but not very good at meeting new dogs. We'd need a place that would take her regardless and could give her a good home for about a week. Money isn't a huge issue (I'd rather spend less than more, but it's short term and I'll spend as much as I have to if she's taken care of properly).

    Any info is greatly appreciated!

There are some in the mountains called sugarloaf kennels, we left our German shepherd there a few years ago (maybe 3 years) .. she loves humans too but is a bit reactive with dogs and seemed to get on great there :)
