    Anyone any information on working in Oberstown Detention Campus. What's the hours for clerical positions and are the allowances any good?

    AFAIK there are no allowances for clerical staff??

    Remuneration
    Allowances specific to this post are payable. These include Secure Unit Allowance and allowances for working unsocial hours.

    The rates of remuneration and allowances may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.

    If you're looking for the allowances check out the ones for prison officers I imagine it's in their remit to run their own campaigns and they're taking advantage of it.

    Had my interview last week for the grade III. I don't think it went too well. I wasn't really prepared for it and was more so looking for interview experience. Was fairly formal and 45 minutes long competency based with a typing task at the end. 3 interviewers (HR manager, line manager and an independent interviewer) and one lady taking the notes.
