I have done a search, but can't find a definitive answer. I am hoping to import a Mercedes Sprinter Panel Van from the UK, it is classed as N1 on the UK V5 document, 2007, but it has tinted windows in the side at the back, and has 2 seats in the back as well.

I have no problem taking the seats out, I don't need them, and was going to take them out for most of the time anyway, but am now concerned that the windows will mean I won't be able to tax it here as N1? Is there any way of checking, except bringing it over and taking it to a test centre?
