I am looking at returning to school as a mature student. I have always had an interest in mechanical engineering and I am looking into going to tallaght it to do a course.

Could someone give me some personal opinion to how hats mechanical engineering is?

I know it's very heavy on maths and how hard it is depends on the person but in general how tough is it?
What is the work load like?
Did you do it full time or part time?
What do you need to get into a mechanical engineering course as a mature student?

Any thoughts, information or help would be greatly appreciated
