I've been tempted to get one of these for a while. It can stream terrestrial tv to an apple tv which is very handy. I would stick the receiver in the attic and run cat 6 to the router. It would feed two devices from there. Should work fine with T2 tuner and is handy for a bedroom tv.

Would like to hear from someone how it orders channels etc. first and how it functions in practice.

I would hope that the tuners can lock onto both Saorview muxes and thus provide as many users as wish with a choice of all Saorview channels simultaneously.
Only some limitation in software would prevent this.

It is quite pricey at £100str, IMO.

Has anyone tried this and can confirm if it will work in Ireland? It takes a DVB-T signal and can transmit to various clients like your phone or tablet.

    From their website:
Receives DVB-T and DVB-T2 digital TV – Includes: RAI, TNT, TDT and ZFD

    Thanks for any advice

    Have a look at http://www.vboxcomm.com/ireland-free-tv.html

    Does satellite and terrestrial.

One of these will do what you want. If you connect it to satelite dish it will also let you transmit UK channels free around your home.

Just install dream player on your phone or tablet/or Android tv box.

Also streams to pc and with added benifit of also using the Edison connected to a tv for conventional viewing.
