I'm in the market for a condenser dryer and I understand that the heat pump models are more economical but can take longer to dry.

Can anyone verify that? Any experience on how much longer it takes to dry clothes in one of these?

Finally, any recommendations for one in the €500-600 range (or cheaper)?

    Thanks in advance :)

Currently looking at Euronics, appliances delivered, Harvey Norman and DID. Anywhere else I should be looking?

Bosch or Siemens are probably the best , very good construction and efficient but they don't come cheap, if you are UK based as going by your profile they start at £550 for the 7kg

The Bosch WTH83000 8kg heat-pump dryer is €429 on euronics.ie and powercity.ie (maybe other places too) which seems a very good price?
