With a normal combi box what saorview channels can you view while recording another saorview channel?

    Something to do with muxes.

    Thanks

Mod can you switch this to satellite.
Think it will get a better response.

    Thanks

I think terrestrial might be more appropriate. Saorview is a terrestrial service.

You can view any channel that is on the same mux as the one being recorded.

Scroll down a little to see the breakdown of the two muxes

Some boxes have the option of a twin terrestrial tuner which means that you can watch, stream or record all of the saorview channels at all times.

All channels are on Mux 1 except RTE One, be3, RTEjr and RTE One +1

    BTW
There's only one satellite transponder so if your receiver allows you can watch / record all the channels, but it's only RTE and TG4.
