Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wacom Intuos - dedicated graphics card?

Hi - my daughter just got a Wacom Intuos and would like to get a laptop. Budget is only around 500. Does she need a dedicated graphics card? Currently she's using it on her brother's 3 year old HP Pavilion, which as far as I know doesn't have one, and it seems to be working fine but I just want to check she's not going to be throwing money away.

The Corel softward that comes with it needs 64 bit so we will make sure we get that but otherwise is there anything special needed. Bear in mind this is for a 13 year old who is going to be using it for this and a bit of Coderdojo and coding, no mad gaming or anything.

    Thanks!

Probably not? CPU and Ram are more important, though photoshop does use 3D accelerations for somethings like rotating the canvas in real time.
