I don't know if this is in the right section or not? Move if it is.
I was just wondering does anybody know are TV's with WebOS the same as Android TV OS?

Oh right fair enough. Can WebOS download apps like the Play Store?

you can install apps from their selection but IMHO, its very limited.

Then again, Even theSony Bravias with android have a very limited play store. you can sideload apps using a .apk file if its not in theplay store ( only apps officially supported appear in play store) but TBH this is a bit of a pain and quite a few apps Ive tried ( Like the Eir TV sports app and the SKY TV apps) wont screen rotate correctly at all on the Sony Bravia.

Question. Does anyone know if Samsung Smart TV's and Sony Bravia Android TV's have the same Apps? They both have the same Play Store. Can these apps be streamed on the TV; MOD - deleted? And what about LG WebOS TV's?
